For ground-level storage, steel is the right call. Steel containers are more secure, more weather-resistant, and stand up to impact, theft attempts, and rough handling a lot better than aluminum. Aluminum is lighter and makes sense in trailers where weight matters for over-the-road hauling — but it’s not the right material for static on-site storage.
